Couch To 5K – Spring 2024

Have you always wanted to start running, but you don’t know where to begin? Start now by joining our highly successful Couch to 5k programme.

Start Date – Monday 15th April 2024, for 9 weeks.
Time and Venue – 6.30 pm outside The Kitchen in Poole Park
Fee – £25 for the whole program (Race entry includes a T-Shirt and discounted entry into a local race on the 9th June).
Age Limit: 18 (13+ if accompanied by a parent – see newsletter link below for more details.)

Upton Summer Series 2024

ENTRIES WILL OPEN AT NOON ON 1st JAN 2024

Competitors’ details will be published regularly on the Poole Runners website, please check that your details are correct.

Race Dates are:  8th May 29th May, 19th June, 10th July, 24th July and 7th Aug 2024. all Wednesdays

Senior Races:  Age 14 plus on May 8th 2024
Junior Race: Age 4 years plus and max 13 years on May 8th 2024 

Race Arrangements for 2024

  • All entries will be online with a single payment for all six races.
  •  Both Senior and Junior Races will again be chip timed.
  •  Where possible numbers will be  distributed  via local Clubs with the remainder to be collected at Race One.
  • Sorry, no entries on the night. 
  • The chip and number must be kept for all 6 races, unfortunately, it will not be possible to replace lost or forgotten chips on the night.
  • You will NOT be able to swap chips or numbers between runners.

COST

Seniors Race Series  £28  (plus extra £2 for non Club runners) i.e. less than £5 per race for a chip timed event!

Juniors Race Series  £12  i.e. just £2 per race for a chip timed  event

This page is for payment of club subscriptions for Wessex Cross Country.

Once the payment has been submitted, please complete the online runner declarations. This can either be done by a team manager in bulk (10 entries at a time), or by getting runners to individually enter their own details (recommended).

For those who are attending the prize presentations at the Junction, Broadstone after the last race on 7th August the café franchise is offering a selection of bar snacks at just £7. These need to be pre-ordered, however no payment is needed at this stage. Payment is direct to the café on collection of your selected choice. Food will be available from 8:15 onwards. Drinks will be served in the bar from 8:00pm.

Please make your selection from:

  • Chicken & Chips
  • Sausage & Chips
  • Scampi & Chips
  • Vegan Burger & Chips

On arrival at The Junction bar, simply go to the food order point and give your name and pay the £7.  Your food will be delivered to your table.

REGISTRATION TYPES

1) FOR MEMBERS OF RUNNING CLUBS SIGNED UP FOR THE WESSEX LEAGUE:

Please register by selecting the ‘Team Member Registration (For Club Members)‘ ticket below.

If you are a Team Manager entering bulk details, then this can be done in batches. Please note that each runner entered on the form will be emailed their registration confirmation individually using the email provided.

2) FOR INDIVIDUALS (OR CLUB RUNNERS FROM NON-SIGNED UP CLUBS):

Individual runners will be allowed to join the league provided they are affiliated to England Athletics or another Home Country federation.

Please select the appropriate ‘Non-Club Member Individual Registration‘ tickets below. You will need to pay the appropriate entry fee using a credit/debit card.
